Merch, Reviews, Rye, and Online Stock

It’s been a busy few weeks, and I’ve got a lot of updates to share. Grab a pour and let’s catch up.
First Things First — Merch Is Available

Summer is here, and if you want to rep Scattered Castles Bourbon, now’s your chance. Head over to the online store at scattered-castles.com/merch and check out what’s available, including the Scattered Castles Bourbon t-shirt.
When I wear my “Graffiti Girl” shirt in public, strangers stop me to tell me it’s bad-ass and ask where they can get one. Pick one up, wear it out, and let’s see if you get the same reaction I do.
Tried Scattered Castles? I Want to Hear What You Think
If you’ve had a chance to taste Scattered Castles Bourbon — whether you were at the release party, picked up a bottle, or got a pour somewhere — I’d genuinely love to know what you think. Post a review on Reddit (r/DMVWhisky or r/Bourbon), Discord, or share your thoughts on any whiskey review site you use.
Reviews matter enormously. There are no big marketing budgets here, no PR teams, no investors pushing things along. Word of mouth and honest reviews from you are what help a craft spirit like this one find its audience. If you enjoyed it — or even if you have constructive thoughts — please take a few minutes and share them. It means more than you know.
Scattered Castles Bourbon Is Coming to Frootbat
This one I’m really excited about. I’m proud to announce that Scattered Castles Bourbon will be available online soon through Frootbat. The contract is signed. I’m currently finishing up product photos and writing text. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to click “Buy Now” on my website and it’ll take you directly to the Scattered Castles Bourbon retail page to place your order.
For everyone who missed the release party, or who’s been asking how to get a bottle without driving to Baltimore — this is your answer. Stay tuned, I’ll send an email once the online retail store is live.
Culper & Co. Rye Update
Earlier today I scheduled what I’m hoping will be my final check-in on Culper & Co. Rye Batch #1 before we move into production and start bottling. That check-in is set for Aug. 14. I’m planning a late September or early October release, so that rye spice finished in old apple brandy barrels will go perfectly on a crisp Fall evening. Lastly, I’m reviewing multiple label designs as we speak, and I hope to settle-in on one this weekend. I’ll have more details to share as we get closer.
If you’re receiving this email, then you already know that I’m working on this project without investors, without private equity, and without outside help. This is purely for the love of the craft. Every label hand-written, every mile driven, every late night — it’s all been worth it because of the community that’s shown up to support this.
More updates coming soon. In the meantime, grab a shirt, pour a glass, and stay tuned.
